Transparency, a liberal mindset, and faith in free markets are my core values. I believe economic success and capital accumulation are important goals. I love being a professional financial advisor and I continuously strive to improve. I am an accredited Canadian Investment Manager (CIM), Derivative Market Specialist (DMS), and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP). I have worked at Scotiabank group my entire career. I started as an associate dealing exclusively in exchange-traded derivatives, where I was responsible for transactions in overseas trading sessions with Japan, Hong Kong, Australia, and Singapore. After graduating from University of Toronto, I started managing investment portfolios for private clients. Today, with my team, I manage over $120 million in assets and trade billions of dollars worth of derivatives each year. Aside from my enthusiasm for working in Wealth Management, I am also a member of Advocis, The Canadian Association of Gift Planners, Citizens for a Canadian Republic, the Toronto Floorball League, AGO Next, ROM YPC, and Heritage Toronto. My private charitable foundation is the George Brown Memorial Foundation. I enjoy all kinds of sports including floorball and long-distance running. I also enjoy learning about Canadian history and the history of financial services. |
